Mortgage Loan Funder

Certified Mobile Notary Service (https://certifiedmobilenotaryservice.com) is seeking for someone to fill the position of a Mortgage Loan Funder to work in a telecommute capacity in the U.S. only.

JOB BRIEFING:

The Mortgage Loan Funder reports to the Mortgage Loan Closing Manager and is responsible for reviewing and verifying that all of the required aspects of the loan process have been met prior to wiring funds. In addition, this candidate will be responsible for reviewing documents and for balancing loans against estimates and final HUD-1/Closing Disclosure.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

Preparing and coordinating all final loan documentation for loan closings such as auditing loan files and lock confirmations.
Reviewing loan documents for funding and regulatory compliance.
Preparing collateral packages for shipment to investors, reviewing funding conditions, initiating funding requests and communicating final funding figures to escrow.

ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Prepare all loan documents and escrow instructions on all loans as required.
Review the file for conditions and/or instructions from the Processor, review and accurately detail all loan charges and prepare any documents required by the loan for funding.
Verify pricing of loans- Rate, Points, Fees, and APR state restrictions.
Review returning closing docs from title company.
Balance loans against estimate and final HUD-1/Closing Disclosure statements.
Review title report for liens and judgments to be paid at closing.
Verify and balance funding figures in order to wire final loan proceeds to Title.
Fund loans and wire monies according to company standards and within the time frames as expected by our customers.
Ensure timely delivery of funded loan file for purchase.
Clear outstanding conditions given by shipping, collateral or servicing department.
Direct escrow officer's on breaking down borrower's closing costs and seller credits.
Review and sign off closing conditions including insurance information.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required.
Minimum of 2/+ years of residential mortgage loan or accounting experience.

SKILLS:

Demonstrated ability to perform financial diagnosis along with creative problem solving.
Ability to work in a paperless system environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Attention to details and strong organizational skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight time constraints with high volume.
Ability to understand HUD-1 settlement statements.
Demonstrate the ability to work in a high stress environment.
Must be proactive, work with a sense of urgency, and thrive in a very fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office as well as the ability to learn and utilize other information systems.

PAYMENT: $85.00-$200.00 per loan signing
